Step 1

Outreach Workshops with NHS Partners

Taking the first step to attending a group can be daunting, so we’ve taken our classes to your place of treatment as part of our outreach programme. This means that participants can attend a group in a location that they are already familiar with. We work from a number of health locations across the south of Glasgow, such as Health Centres and Mental Health Resource Centres.

If you attend one of the locations that we run groups from, the staff there will be able to tell you how to sign up and when the next group will start. These groups last for 6-8 weeks. After completing the class, participants have the option to join one of our community classes.

Referral Criteria:

The Creative Steps service is for adults (over 16 years old). Our groups are for individuals experiencing a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety. All of our classes are free.

Referral information for Health and Professional:

If you are interested in referring one of your service users to our programme, please get in touch by phone or email. We will arrange a referral meeting with the individual, which you are more than welcome to attend with them. If you work within one of our outreach locations, please get in contact with the designated staff member who coordinates the groups within your place of work to make a referral.

If you are interested discussing partnership work and running outreach groups at your location, please get in touch.
