All in Media

Telling stories through co-creative filmmaking

We use filmmaking as a tool for community engagement. These projects enable local people to shape and tell stories that reflect their life experiences.

Reflecting on our commitment to addressing inequality, we also provide hands-on opportunities, mentorship and skills-based training to support access to the screen industry.

Kickstarter employability programme

With a mix of production training, specialist masterclasses and active participation in real life projects, this trainee scheme supports young people at the start of their filmmaking careers.

The Portal Seniors Film Club

Running since 2008, The Portal Seniors’ Film Club actively produces new films, with subjects that range from social history documentary to comedy sketch shows.

Ambition for Media

Ambition for Media works with young people aged 12 to 16 to build their social confidence and creativity through a range of media projects.
