With a mix of hands-on production training, specialist masterclasses and active participation in real life projects, this trainee scheme supports young people at the start of their filmmaking careers.
Aged between 16 and 25, our trainees work with our team to form a community production unit. Engaging youth groups, organisations and charities, this unit produces short films and promotional media for real-world clients.
Working with the BFI Skills Builder programme, the creative media skills and knowledge gained through this unit gives young people a strong foundation for progressing into the screen and wider creative industries.
